Our Company History – Long-Standing Expertise in CAD / CAM Software

 Herbert Schmidt founded in 1983 the Herbert Schmidt GmbH. 
He is the director and acting partner of the company.

KTS Electronic GmbH

The Herbert Schmidt GmbH formed in 1981 the KTS Electronic GmbH.

l        The KTS- Electronic GmbH was known as company for Automatic Testing with the main focus on In-Circuit- or MDA- Test, also known as: "Manufacturing Defect Analyser".

 

l        The KTS- Electronic GmbH was Germany's first and until 1993 also biggest seller of test systems of this kind and has installed more than 1400 systems worldwide. Many of these systems are still running today.

FABmaster

The Herbert Schmidt GmbH founded in 1991 the Company FABmaster S.A. in Grenoble, a company with newly developed Software for the use in the area of CAD/ CAM-Software for electronics manufacturing.

l        Soon FABmaster became the market leader worldwide with this Software.

 

l        The Company FABmaster was sold to Tecnomatix- Unicam in the year 2000.

 

l        Since 1991 to the year 2003, the Herbert Schmidt GmbH worked in Germany and Austria in sales and user-support of FABmaster Software.

 

l        Some of our customers are:
Siemens, Solectron, Blaupunkt, Rohde & Schwarz, Lucent, Sirona, STN Atlas, VDO, AEG and many more
